In 2024, Madison Community Foundation (MCF) awarded $1.34 million in grants to 19 nonprofits throughout the Madison area. The grants are directed to organizations working in areas such as learning, community development, arts and culture, and the environment.

The 2024 grant awards include:

• Badger Prairie Needs Network — $100,000;

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County — $35,000;

• CEOs of Tomorrow — $65,000;

• Children’s Theater of Madison — $40,000;

• Community Shares of Wisconsin — $60,000;

• Felicia’s Donation Closet — $75,000;

• Friends of San Damiano — $50,000;

• Gathering Waters — $50,000;

• Literacy Network — $50,000;

• Madison Area Rehabilitation Centers — $50,000;

• Madison College — $150,000;

• Madison Circus Space — $50,000;

• Madison Public Library Foundation — $250,000;

• Madison Public Schools Foundation — $50,000;

• Nuestro Mundo — $35,000;

• Operation Fresh Start — $20,000;

• OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center — $60,000;

• The Salvation Army of Dane County — $100,000; and

• Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra — $50,000.
